Jay Derrell is a stand-up comedian, storyteller, actor, author, and podcast host celebrating more than 20 years of making audiences laugh across the country. Since stepping on stage for the first time in 2006, Jay has built a reputation for delivering high-energy, relatable comedy inspired by family, relationships, military life, law enforcement, and the everyday moments that connect us all. A U.S. Army veteran and retired law enforcement officer, Jay has a unique ability to turn real-life experiences into unforgettable comedy. His authentic storytelling style allows audiences to laugh at life's challenges while finding common ground through humor.
Throughout his career, Jay has shared the stage with some of comedy's most recognizable names, including Arnez J, Tommy Davidson, D.L. Hughley, Sommore, Don "DC" Curry, Pierre, and many more.

Beyond stand-up, Jay is the host of Jay Derrell's Uncuffed Podcast and the author of Preserved for Purpose: A Life of Laughter, Loss, and Legacy, a memoir chronicling his remarkable journey through adversity, faith, and resilience.

Jay Derrell is a hometown standup comedian, from Clayton, NC, a 10-year Army Military Veteran, who served 17 years as a police officer and became known as the Comedy Cop in the Raleigh Durham area and a graduate of NC Wesleyan University. Currently, Jay Derrell works as a full-time Comedian and Podcast host of Failure to Stop "Uncuffed" Podcast, and owner/founder of Daisy Pearl Productions LLC.
Jay Derrell has opened for top national headlining comedians such as The King of Comedy DL Hughley and Arnez J, Darryl 'DMillitant" Littleton, Donnell Rawlings, Reginald Ballard, Comedienne Sommore, Lunell and Heather Land, R & B Singer Eric Benet, Funk Master George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic and many more.

A full breakout of your ticket will be shown during checkout. The service fees help cover the costs of putting on the show. They are shared between the various organizing parties, and may include a profit to them.
We are an 18+ venue.
Instead of a drink minimum, we have a two-item per person minimum in the Showroom, which can be fulfilled with any food or drink items from the menu.
Please Note: Food and drinks purchased in the bar and lounge do not count towards the two-item minimum.
- General Admission seating is assigned on a first-come, first-sat basis as you enter the showroom. The earlier you arrive, the better your seats will be.
- Reserved seats are assigned for you by management on the night of the show. They are the best seats available for your party size at the time they are assigned.
Please Note: We do not take seating requests and cannot guarantee seats in a specific location or that your party will have a table to themselves.
- While we cannot guarantee seats together, General admission groups should arrive at least 45 minutes before showtime and enter the showroom as a group for the best chance of being seated together.
- Reserved groups who purchase tickets in a single order will automatically be assigned seating together. Reserved ticket holders who purchase separately are not guaranteed seating together. Please see your email confirmation for details if your group purchased separately.
